Key Strategies
Huia (Identity) is creating an environment for durable peace.
Leadership On The Ground
Huia (Identity) is engaging communities and leaders on the ground:
To support humanitarian aid in the West Bank.
Provide on-the-ground political capacity building and leadership development to support Palestinian leaders in adopting nonviolence as a collective identity and advancing an environment for peace.
And establish a framework for national transformation to serve a peaceful solution and create the conditions and environment for change.
Huia (Identity) also provides leadership support to Ali Abu Awwad’s Karama (“Dignity”) Peace Center, an incubator for peace activism located in the Gush Etzion Junction surrounded by six Israeli settlements.
Regional and Global Leadership
Huia is activating influential leaders with Israeli society, our Arab neighbors, and beyond:
In philanthropy, business, and civil society to join us in our mission to create an environment where solutions are implemented.
In politics, where Ali is engaging directly with heads of state, regional, and global leaders to advise on pathways to durable peace.
Partnerships and Exchanges
Huia is engaging leaders from abroad in the realities on the ground to influence civil society and political leaders to ground their work in principles of identity and recognition:
Through international partnerships and exchanges welcoming students, academics, and leaders globally to the West Bank.
In regional coalition building and the establishment of an international working group taking action to build support for solutions and combat anti-semitism, Islamophobia, and hate globally.
Global Consciousness Raising and Action
Huia is engaging people around the world to be pro-solution, shifting ways of thinking, and inspiring people to be partners in a path to peace in the region:
Through media appearances (op-eds, commentary, podcasts, etc.).
Global speaking tours.
And online events.
My Journey to Solutions
Ali’s book, My Journey to Solutions, his own story of turning tragedy to accountability, and action, will be published in 2026.
